Mom of the Month for October....Erica!

Tell us about yourself and your family.

I'm Erica and I'm going to be 30 this month I'm from Key Largo, Florida. I have a daughter named Adeline, who is 16 months old, and super cute husband named Wyatt (I like him a lot). Wyatt and I grew up together and have been together for 10 years. We call our little family the fam jam, and we love to go on adventures together.

What surprised you the most once you became a mom?

This is going to sound stupid, but the fact that you have to brush their tiny teeth! I mean duh- teeth need to be brushed, but it was about 3 months after her little chiclets sprouted that I was like- holy sh*t! Should I be brushing these things? Also- how sharp they are. They're like little razor sharp hamster teeth.

Why did you join FIT4MOM? Why do you love it?

I joined FIT4MOM because I was looking for a way to work out and avoid paying for child care. I got that plus an entire village of amazing women who always have my back. I love this group and all of them!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? If you didn't have any obstacles, what dream would you pursue?

In five years I'm hoping to have at least one more baby (preferably a boy so we can take the pressure off my uterus!), and *maybe* a husband that's home for dinner every night #navylife (same husband preferably ). If there were no obstacles, I would LOVE to be an astronaut or a tornado chaser!

What is your favorite go to piece of baby gear?

My lillebaby all seasons carrier! And prosecco.

Any advice for new moms?

There will be times you'll think you're doing everything wrong or don't know what the hell you're doing, and you'll think that you're alone in that. But you're not! Be honest about the things you might feel embarrassed about (letting your kid watch tv, feeding them food off the floor, sipping wine out of your water bottle at the park)... Speak up and take the pressure off! We're all at the playground pushing the swings hoping the mom pushing next to us has wine in her water bottle too. This ride is too crazy/messy to go it alone and you'll find that you're doing just fine and you will make a lot of friends along the way if you're honest and true to yourself. #momlife #waterorwine?

Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us!

I still have a baby tooth!
