Tell us about yourself and your family.
Neil and I moved to Seattle 2 years ago from Southern California; and last year to Poulsbo when I was pregnant. Dylan is my first child who will be 1 on Nov 21st! We like to think of ourselves as an adventurous and musical family. We love hiking and camping and have an appreciation for all types of music!
What surprised you the most once you became a mom?
These are just a few things:
Your schedule truly becomes wrapped around your child’s nap schedule (if you know what's good for you)
I'd never thought I'd be the mom to post a gazillion photos on FB and Instagram, because you know, everybody wants to see that all day long!
Buy/Trade/Sell, Ebay, OfferUP and FaceBook Marketplace have become my best friends for everything BABY.
The level of excitement for poops and pees when we first brought him home was unimaginable.
Savoring every minute of your 30 minutes of freedom at Safeway
The infinite amount of love you immediately feel.
Why did you join FIT4MOM? Why do you love it?
Nothing prepared me for my postpartum experience since it was the exact opposite of how i envisioned it to be. Here I was, so excited to be a mother after a very difficult and long journey, to then have my world turned upside down from postpartum anxiety.
My love of exercise, friendships and community were why i joined FIT4MOM. I love it because it's a no judgement zone, a safe place to ask questions, seek advice and learn that you are not alone in so many of the things that you worry about, struggle with, or experience on a daily basis with yourself and/or family.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? If you didn't have any obstacles, what dream would you pursue?
I really want to open a coffee shop w/pastries, baked goods (insert Kelsey Reeb here) and have a big area for the kiddos to play, so mommy's can get their coffee/tea fix and we can wear out the kiddos)
What is your favorite go to piece of baby gear?
The BOB stroller of course!
Any advice for new moms?
Go with your gut. It's usually right, and even if it turns out wrong, who cares.

Running is great therapy for me. I usually run before stroller strides a few times a week, anywhere from 5-6 miles on average depending on how much time i give myself. i used to do much longer runs B.C. and I'd like to run a marathon at some point with Dylan and Daddy waiting at the finish lines.
