Tell us about yourself and your family. My husband Andrew and I are parents to Olivia (12 months) and are expecting Baby #2 in June! Until Olivia was born I was a 1st grade teacher and this year I am working part time teaching 4th grade.
What surprised you the most once you became a mom? That I could survive on such little sleep!
Why did you join FIT4MOM? Why do you love it? I went to my first class not really knowing what to expect but I needed to get a routine set and a reason to leave the house and it’s now a big part of my weekly routine. I’ve never before been in a workout routine this regular before and I really enjoy running now, which is something I never thought i would say. I also love the community it has made for both me and Olivia!
What would you tell someone thinking about joining? Definitely to give it a try! The workouts are great and the community is such an amazing bonus!
What is your favorite exercise at class? It’s hard to pick a specific exercise but Strides 360 as a whole class is my favorite.
Any words of wisdom for other moms? Not be afraid to ask someone else for help or advice. Someone else has always been where you are or is willing to lend a hand!
What is your favorite go to piece of baby/kid gear? My BOB stroller and my Lille Baby carrier.
What are your 3 favorite things? Coffee, Reading, and Quilting/Crafting
Favorite thing about the Holidays or month of December? I love everything Christmas! But really love decorating, family traditions and gatherings, and watching Hallmark movies with my sister.
Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us! In high school I used compete in Scottish Highland Dance.
