See what our FIT4MOM Bainbridge-Poulsbo clients are saying about Stroller Strides!
Stroller Strides provides me a great way to get a workout in with my daughter. Workouts modifications are always provided to help those at different levels and newly postpartum. Thanks to Stroller Strides, I have been able to regain my strength after pregnancy and gain the energy I need to keep up with my little one. The Fit4Mom community is amazing. Everyone's support and encouragement helps me get out of bed to workout and push myself to go farther, even on the days when I'm really not feeling it.
Being strong has always been an esteem booster for me. While organized sports has never been my thing, strength training and yoga were like food to the soul. During my pregnancy, though, I did to some degree let fitness fall by the way side. Once I was cleared to exercise again post-partum, I tried a plank hold... I was shaking at 10 seconds. I tried squats... I could barely do 15. I felt weak and tired. Stroller Strides then came into my life. Not only do I have the energy and strength to meet the demands of motherhood (the baby only gets heavier!), but I can now hold a plank for nearly 3 minutes and bust out 50 squats no sweat! Numbers aside, it simply feels great to feel strong again, to nurture my body and mind so I can better care for and keep up with my family. I am Mom Strong!
For me joining stroller strides was all about the work out. Time for me to exercise. But it has turned out to be so much more. Not only does my body get a great workout but the wonderful group of ladies have provided me with friendship, support, and more laughs than I could have ever asked for.
What a great way to stay active after baby and develop a community of friends with babies and little ones!
Fit4Mom is such a great workout but even more valuable is the wonderful community of mothers and children. Being a new parent is such a terrifying (and joyous) experience, having a village to consult and share with is a godsend! LOVE it!!
Love these workouts great group of ladies and babies. Mama strong!
